Am I in Miami????
I just returned from the Spa & Resort Expo & Conference in Miami this past weekend - and I am sooo inspared!!!! This industry is booming and pregnant at the same time - so many wonderful ways to look and feel beautiful, get pampered, and look younger !!!
I was sitting next to this very nice lady I met in line - a thirty-something skin care specialist who worked for a plastic surgeon in West Palm Beach - she was at this expo to learn things to take her to the next level - in her work, and also for herself ! As she listened to Deepak talk about how "intention weaves the tapestry of the universe" her eyes rolled as she thought - how can this help me give better facials?" Now, I truly know how it can - but Deepak !! these people aren't ready for this yet - didn't you learn that back there in the Alternative Medicine world? There needs to be an interpreter, a person who can act like a transformer to take this quantum physics mumbo jumbo and put it into easily understandable terms for people to be able to easily answer the question - "how can I use this in my life to make it better?" Enter - The Home Spa Lady - as a Certified Healing Touch Instructor, and graduate of the Brennan Healing Science program, I have developed ways to take this quantum physics mumbo jumbo and put it into easily understandable terms and techniques to teach someone like this esthetician how to work in the energy field for certain skin care condidtions - like acne for example, and also how to teach everyone at home how to do these incredible things to heal and transform your body and life - and it's as close, literally, as your fingertips! Meanwhile, I agreed to teach a class in the Boca Raton area for this esthetician, and her friends, and other massage therapists, nurses, and health care professionals these wonderful energy healing techniques!

And what a confirmation for me - The Home Spa Lady - that I am on the right track sharing info on how we can turn our existing kitchen and bathroom into a private haven and have our own HOME SPA experience. Deepak Chopra was the opening keynote speaker for the event -
that caught my attention.
He said many of the same things I've heard him say 15 years ago - all of that Quantum Mechanics stuff that I love - but your common spa-lover doesnt' understand or even care about.
I figured either he saturated himself in the Holistic/Alternative Medicine market and is jumping in here to get a new audience, or he has a glimpse into the future of this industry - that the salon/spa industry is where the public at large will be easily able to access Natural Healing Methods (hey, that's what I'm doing here!) - I think it's a little of both.
